Verdelho

VINTAGE 2007:

When we started Bremerton Wines we were passionate about using 100% regional Langhorne Creek fruit. Having been grown in the area for over 150 years, it seemed logical that one of the whites we produce should be Verdelho.

A lifted wine with vibrant tropical fruit aromas and a palate that shows subtle pear flavours with a touch of citrus giving the wine mid-palate complexity. It’s complimented by a  soft acid structure and a lingering finish that will please most palates - a delightfully fresh wine.

The Verdelho is made using only free run juice, and minimal skin contact prior to ferment. This has given expression to primary fruit characters. There is a combination of several fermentation parcels picked at varying ripeness levels providing added depth and complexity to the flavour profile. No oak was used in the production of this wine.
