Verdelho

VINTAGE 2004:

When we started Bremerton Wines we were passionate about using 100% Regional Langhorne Creek fruit, it seemed logical that one of the whites we produce should be Verdelho.

Verdelho has established itself as the white wine grape perfect for the cool microclimate of Langhorne Creek, having been grown in the area for over 100 years. It responds well to the warm days, cool evenings and dry
conditions, which prevail.

We made the vintage 2004 Verdelho using only free run juice, and minimal skin contact prior to ferment. This has enhanced and given expression to primary fruit characters and created a delightfully fresh wine.

lifted wine with mineral notes, tropical fruit aromas and a palate that shows subtle pear flavours enhanced by a touch of citrus giving the wine mid-palate complexity complimented by a great soft acid structure and a lingering finish that will please most palates.
