Tamblyn

VINTAGE 2003:

The family name Tamblyn is in recognition of our grandmother’s ancestors who migrated to Australia from Cornwall, England. The four outstanding red grape varieties all grown in Langhorne Creek have been blended to provide us with a generous and well balanced wine showing lifted violet and ripe cherry aromas, rich mouth filling cassis fruit, complementing soft well integrated tannins and a flavoursome savoury lingering finish.

The concept behind the “Tamblyn” blend was developed when we decided we wanted to craft a wine that people were able to appreciate that night or cellar for a few years. We have blended a complex flavoured wine by utilising the characters of each of the varieties, at the same time achieving a soft well rounded approachable palate structure.

Soft enough to drink now or reward with cellaring 3+ years.
