Shiraz Viognier

VINTAGE 2006:
A blend of Langhorne Creek Shiraz with a dash of Viognier this wine is the result of too much spare time during vintage. The resultant wine is intensely aromatic with a superb blend of Langhorne Creek’s earthy, Eucalyptus notes and the Viognier’s fragrant stone fruits.
It is made to be enjoyed at anytime, but we do believe with its silky finish and fine chalky tannins that this wine will age elegantly.
Fermented in smaller vessels to allow for optimum development. Every morning and evening the ferments were hand plunged to maximize extraction of colour and tannins from the skin and seeds.
Food Matches:
Matches well with Lamb Shanks, pasta & dark chocolate.
