Racy Rosé

VINTAGE 2007:

This is our seventh vintage of Rosé, produced from 100% estate grown fruit. This rosé is drier than most on the finish which gives it a serious edge, however it still expresses wonderful fruit, making it a great compliment to your favourite meal.

The colour is bright reddish/pink and enormously vibrant. The aroma shows lifted crushed strawberry, raspberry and watermelon characteristics.

As the name suggests the palate is energetic and racy with flavorsome ripe cherry characters and a clean refreshing finish. This is a wine to have a lot of fun with. What more could you want!!

SERVE:

Can be enjoyed with risotto, salad, seafood or on its own.

WINEMAKING:

Selected parcels of Shiraz and Cabernet had some of their juice drained off skins when we felt the colour extraction was perfect. The juice was cooled, settled and racked. A yeast was chosen that would enhance the natural berry characters and the ferment was treated just like a delicate white. The wine was then stabilised, filtered and bottled – Full of life and zest.
