SPECIAL RELEASE CHARDONNAY
Warm days, cool nights and a slow consistent ripening period have enabled us to produce an Estate grown Chardonnay which is a pure and lifted expression of the 2008 vintage.
On the nose, this wine shows delicate aromas of candied lemon peel and grapefruit, intermingled with nashy pears and delicate floral notes. The citrus characters intensify on the pallet, exhibiting a generosity and smoothness that lingers and persists in your mouth with a clean, crisp finish.
The clarified juice was fermented under cool conditions using a chosen wine yeast strain, the majority in stainless steel tanks, with a small portion in oak barrels. Individual parcels were then carefully selected to make up the final blend.

SERVE
This is a versatile food wine, which will complement a wide range of "white meat" dishes such as poultry, veal or pork. Fish options like trout, tuna or salmon could be partnered in a similar fashion.
